:: Poultry Diagnostic Laboratory ::

PD Lab is working since 1991 for the extension and advancement of veterinarians and poultry farmers. Diagnostic facilities provided by the Lab are:

• Poultry disease diagnostic facilities through bird sampling.
• Provides assistance in setting up hygiene standards of hatcheries.
• Testing of immunity level due to vaccination for the common diseases. This includes various tests like Culture, Elisa, HI and virus isolation, through computerized Flock Monitoring System. This prevents the flock from disease breakouts.
• Germs testing in feed, water and litter. Appropriate precautionary measures are given to the farmer against disease control depending upon the %age presence of the germs in their environment.
• Recently disease diagnostic facilities for livestock and pets are also introduced.
